this is a tough one for me. it was while writing this that the name, "calvin, don't jump!" came to me. my music has always been about trying to dissuade people from dying by their own hand. keep breathing everyone.

It was a dark night
and I held my eyes up shut so tight
and the reason of my lips
slowly parted and my grip was slightly askew

for an instant there was silence on the street
in my veins I felt the slightest, oh the slightest of retreats
as the august rain poured on my head
saw your silhouette on the mirror
started wishing I was...

my feet trembled as I walked in the door
in the bathroom laid my body slowly on the floor
and in the distance I heard my mother's yell
with an illusion of utopia I clumsily fell
pounding violently with my fists
grabbed the pistol with a sudden feeling of bliss
and as the tears rolled from my eyes
I felt the rage, pulled the trigger and to my surprise
the bullet had gone too high
my dreams were shattered, clouds lifted and clear was the sky.
